Writing Programs
This evening I was browsing reddit and came across an interesting question: “[Groovy] As a new developer in a highly skilled development team, I am struggling to keep up with them… Any tips or suggestions to improve?”.

Running scripts on screen lock/unlock
So I am working on automating a few things I do daily on my desktop. I have my Yubikey setup for login, which is nice. But I also wanted to run some scripts to enable/disable zoneminder when I lock/unlock my system.

Commitmas 2015
The other day at lunch my friend Scott told me about Commitmas. The idea is that you complete a series of challenges (based on your existing expertese) in an effort to learn more about git/Github and get contributing to other projects.

Welcome!
Figure I’ll try my hand at posting up on my github page since it’s available. I’ve been meaning to write more about the things I’m working on code wise. At the very least it’ll help me keep track of some notes and I might actually take the time to understand things better if I have to explain it.
